In this forecast, I am sharing my insights on the Full Moon in Libra happening on April 5th at 12:34am ET.

During this Full Moon window, the moon is in Libra and even though we continue to ride the wave of expansive and empowering energy that began the week of the Aries New Moon, we are now being called to look at how our relationships either enhance or hinder that expansion and empowerment.

It is the perfect time to take a step back and be honest about all the relationships in our lives, including the one with ourselves.  To look at how we show up in our relationships, how other show up and whether or not our relationships are supportive, balanced, kind and loving.  And, if not, whether or not we are willing to show up in our relationships with ourselves with enough courage to ask for what we need from others and also set boundaries where necessary.

Chiron the wounded healer is also active during this Full Moon window and this energy encourages us to tap into the wisdom we’ve gained through the wounding we’ve experienced and let that enhance how we show up in all our relationships.

The Opportunity:

To enhance our relationship with ourselves and others in order to continue to align with the expansive and empowering energy that burst on the scene with the Aries New Moon in March.

The Challenge:

The energy during this full moon window is asking us to show up to our relationships with integrity.  We are being called to be honest about how each of our relationships either enhances or hinders our own growth, expansion, healing and empowerment.  This includes our relationship with ourselves.  And once we are honest with ourselves about our relationships, we are also being called to be honest with others—to ask for what we need, to share our frustrations and to set boundaries where necessary.  And to do all this with love and kindness and without judgement.

Journal Prompts:
  • Make a list of the most important relationships in your life at this moment.  Now, allow yourself to sit with the energy of each individual relationship and ask yourself the following questions—for best results, allow yourself to be unapologetically honest with your answers – don’t forget to include your relationship with yourself in this exercise:
  • Why is this relationship important to me?
  • How am I showing up in this relationship?  Is this how I want to show up? If not, what am I willing to do about it to show up in a way that aligns with who I want to be in this relationship?
  • How is the other person showing up in this relationship?  Is this how I want or hope this person will show up for this relationship?  If not, am I willing to have honest, loving and kind conversations about what isn’t working for me?
  • Where do my relationships feel unbalanced?  How can I set better boundaries and communicate my needs to others in a healthy, loving and kind manner?
